SIUE East St. Louis Charter has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Southwestern, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. SIUE East St. Louis Charter will take on First Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. First Baptist Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Southwestern, they will look to defend their home court on January 5, 2024 against Gillespie at 7:30 p.m.
