Basketball Recap: West Lutheran Comes Up Short

West Lutheran lost against Avail Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Lutheran Warriors fell 67-55 to Avail Academy. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Avail Academy, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

West Lutheran won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Simley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in West Lutheran's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Avail Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Twin Cities Academy/Great River at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
