Recap: Deer Park Wildcats vs. Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS
The Deer Park Wildcats lost against the Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Deer Park was dealt a 64-35 loss at the hands of Madeira. Deer Park has not had much luck with Madeira recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Madeira's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aj Rockwell led the charge by scoring 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Aidan Hopewell, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Deer Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Madeira, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deer Park will take on Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Madeira, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wyoming at 7:30 p.m. Wyoming is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
