Baseball Recap: Miami Christian Falls Short of Brito in the Playoffs

Miami Christian and Brito squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Miami Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-1. The Victors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miami Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ray Yero, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Miami Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Brito, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-14.

Coming up, Miami Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlantic Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Victors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sharks have averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season. As for Brito, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Schoolhouse Prep on the 16th.
