Carmel had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 21-13 victory over the Salinas Cowboys. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 26-14 back in September.

Although Salinas took the loss, they still got scores from Isabella Hernandez and Alissa Escutia.

Carmel's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Salinas, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

Carmel has already played their next contest, a 19-14 loss against St. Francis on the 20th. As for Salinas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-6 victory against Hollister on the 20th.
