New Braunfels Thunder entered their tilt with San Marcos Academy on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bears 9-3. The Homeschool might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Justin Rusick was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Paxton Lerma, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

New Braunfels Thunder pushed their record up to 12-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for San Marcos Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

New Braunfels Thunder didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-1 win against Founders Classical Academy on the 4th. As for San Marcos Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against John Paul II on the 3rd.
