Softball Recap: Colonel Crawford Comes Up Short

Colonel Crawford managed to slip by Seneca East the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 15-6 to the Tigers on Thursday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Olivia Friley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Colonel Crawford's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Seneca East, they moved to 5-8 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Colonel Crawford has already played their next matchup (against New London), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Seneca East, they will square off against Mohawk at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
