Softball Recap: Lodi Comes Up Short

Lodi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-2 to the Hasbrouck Heights Aviators. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aviators apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Anayansi Jaquinet made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Briyah Nobles was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Lodi's record is now 0-6. As for Hasbrouck Heights, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lodi will venture away from home to square off against Passaic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hasbrouck Heights, they will host Becton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
