Mesa Ridge has gone 8-2 against Widefield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mesa Ridge Grizzlies will venture away from home to challenge the Widefield Gladiators at 6:00 p.m. Mesa Ridge will be looking to extend their current 20-game winning streak.

On Monday, Mesa Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Evergreen, taking the game 64-57. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Cougars are ranked 87th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Widefield came up short against Cheyenne Mountain on Monday and fell 55-48. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mesa Ridge's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points over those games. As for Widefield, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Mesa Ridge strolled past Widefield in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 61-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mesa Ridge since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
