Softball Recap: Bloom-Carroll's Undefeated Season over After 17 Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Bloom-Carroll finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Licking Valley Panthers, falling 7-1. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bloom-Carroll saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bloom-Carroll fell to 16-1. As for Licking Valley, their record is now 8-4.

Coming up, Bloom-Carroll will venture away from home to take on Bishop Watterson at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Licking Valley, they will host Fredericktown at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
