Soccer Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial lost against Aledo back in January of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Centennial Spartans came up short against the Aledo Bearcats, falling 6-1. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Andrew Smith, which was the first he's scored this season.

Centennial now has a losing record at 2-3-1. As for Aledo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Eastern Hills at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Aledo, they will host Weatherford at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
