Volleyball Recap: South Knox Takes a Loss

South Knox lost against Sullivan back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans came up short against the Golden Arrows, falling 3-0.

South Knox took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-23.

Rachel Eslinger went supernova For Sullivan., getting nine digs and five kills. That's the most kills Eslinger has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Mccammon, who had 12 digs and one assist.

South Knox's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, South Knox will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on West Vigo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sullivan, they will head out to face off against Vincennes Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
