Loudoun County HomeSchool suffered a rough 77-55 defeat at the hands of James River HomeSchool on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

James River HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Samuel Mitchell out in front who scored 19 points along with five assists and four steals. Mitchell also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Matthew Thomas, who scored 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Loudoun County HomeSchool has fallen quite a ways from their 19-8 record last season and are now at 3-8. As for James River HomeSchool, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Loudoun County HomeSchool will head out on the road to face off against James River HomeSchool at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for James River HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Guardian Christian Academy at 7:15 p.m.
