Brookings-Harbor has gone a perfect 10-0 against St. Mary recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bruins are taking a road trip to square off against the Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Brookings-Harbor has five straight wins, St. Mary's has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Brookings-Harbor came out on top against Rogue River on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run sixth inning. The Bruins blew past the Chieftains 16-4. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won six matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times St. Mary's and Lakeview have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Crusaders came up short against the Honkers, falling 12-2.

Brookings-Harbor pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for St. Mary's, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything went Brookings-Harbor's way against St. Mary's in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Brookings-Harbor made off with a 24-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
