Clovis had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bakersfield Christian Eagles. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Clovis not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bakersfield Christian to exactly 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16.
