It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Daviess County can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 69-37 loss at the hands of Great Crossing. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Malachi Moreno was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 21 points and 17 boards for Great Crossing. Moreno is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 55% in the last 20 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Vince Dawson, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 16 points and six rebounds.

Daviess County's defeat dropped their record down to 25-7. As for Great Crossing, the victory was the 24th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 32-4.

Daviess County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Great Crossing, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-36 win against Cooper on the 28th.
