Recap: Zionsville Eagles vs. Pike Red Devils
The Zionsville Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Pike 68-48. Winning may never get old, but Zionsville sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Emma Haan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 0 assists. The matchup was her tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caroline Sampson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Zionsville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Pike, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zionsville will take on Noblesville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pike, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Decatur Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
