Basketball Recap: Ottawa Comes Up Short

Ottawa lost against Morris back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ottawa Pirates fell just short of the Morris Redskins by a score of 39-37. The matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Ottawa and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Morris, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Ottawa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-29 victory against Plainfield Central on the 14th. As for Morris, they will be taking part in a tournament against Marmion at 12:30 p.m. on December 23rd.
