Baseball Recap: Haskell Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fairland on Friday, Haskell came back down to earth. The Haymakers fell just short of the Wyandotte Bears by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Haymakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Haskell now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Wyandotte, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Haskell will face off against Porter at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wyandotte, they will head out on the road to take on Commerce at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
