Basketball Recap: Mentorship Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Broadmoor

Mentorship Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 58-54 to the Broadmoor Buccaneers. The defeat leaves the Sharks still looking for their first win of the season.

Broadmoor got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cedric McDonald out in front who posted nine points and three steals. That's the most points McDonald has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Jordan Jr., who scored ten points and five boards.

Mentorship Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Broadmoor, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mentorship Academy will welcome Livonia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Broadmoor, they will host Bogalusa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
