Football Game Preview: Scott Highlanders vs. Wartburg Central Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Scott Highlanders will challenge the Wartburg Central Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Scott was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 23-17 to Meigs County. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Tigers are ranked 100th).

Meanwhile, Wartburg Central fell victim to Coalfield and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Yellow Jackets, falling 55-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Wartburg Central's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Scott, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
