Maine-Endwell (N.Y.) is the fastest-rising team in the MaxPreps Small School National Rankings as they return to the Top 25 in the No. 3 spot.
After not appearing in the Top 25 in last month's rankings, Maine-Endwell has had a strong showing in the New York Class B playoffs and has posted a 12-0 record on the season. The surge has allowed the New York school to pass stalwarts like Curtis (River Ridge, La.), Coldwater (Ohio) and Bassfield (Miss.) to No. 3, right behind Florida schools University (Fort Lauderdale) and American Heritage (Delray Beach).
The MaxPreps Small Schools National Rankings are based on the Freeman Computer Rankings and are for schools from state enrollment divisions that generally consist of schools with less than 1,000 students.
