Dillan Monette, the 3-star running back from Acadiana, had a huge senior season, breaking the school's record for career rushing yards surpassing former LSU running back Alley Broussard's record of 5,012 yards.
He capped off his high school career with 5,450 yards rushing.
He rushed for 1,940 yards during his senior campaign while leading the Rams to their first undefeated season. They beat Destrehan 8-3 in the 5A state championship to cap off a 15-0 year and win the school's fifth title.
Choosing a Coach of the Year was tough as there were plenty of coaches who were deserving but Archbishop Rummel's Nick Monica takes home the award. In his first season as head coach he led the Raiders to a 13-0 record, Division 1 title, and a spot at No. 19 in the MaxPreps Top 25 high school football rankings.

First Team
Led the Cougars to fourth consecutive 4A state championship. Accounted for nearly 4,000 yards of offense and 49 touchdowns. Kelly is the first quarterback at the legendary school to win multiple state titles as the starter.
The 2020 Harvard commit threw for 3,885 yards and 43 touchdowns while leading the Cougars to a Division II state championship. He ended his career with over 9,500 yards passing and 106 touchdowns.
The senior running back was named the Louisiana Player of the Year after leading the Rams to their first state title since 2014.
They say big-time players step up in big-time games and that's exactly what Clayton did. He rushed for over 1,200 yards and 19 touchdowns in five playoff games.
The 2020 Alabama commit had a monster postseason rushing for nearly 800 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Boutte checks in as the No. 1 player on 247sports in the state and is a big-time playmaker no matter where he lines up. He had over 1,000 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns to go with nearly 900 yards rushing and 12 more scores. He also took two kickoffs back to the house.
Both wide receivers on the first team are 2020 LSU commits. While Moore didn't have the same production as some receivers in the state he was a huge playmaker for a run heavy offense. Every time the Division 1 state champs needed a big play on offense Moore was the guy they went to.
Checks in as the No. 1 rated player in Louisiana from the Class of 2021 and is the No. 3 wide receiver on 247sports.
The 2020 Georgia commit is as good as any offensive lineman in the country.
One of the most talented players in the Class of 2021. Led the way for one of the best offensive lines in the state.
Was the leader on the offensive line for a team that went 12-1 and finished as the runner-ups in Division I.
One of the top rated prospects in the state. Checks in as the No. 2 offensive lineman in Class of 2020.
Helped pave the way for two 1,000 plus yard rushers this season. One of five players selected from the Patriots.
The Louisiana Gatorade Football Player of the Year threw for nearly 2,500 yards and 30 touchdowns while rushing for over 1,000 yards. Also racked up nearly 50 tackles while leading them to a 13-1 record.
One of two underclassmen to make the First Team offense. Connected on all nine field goals and played a pivotal role for the 3A state champions.
The 2020 Tulane commit was in opposing backfields all season. Accounted for 24 tackles for loss and 14 sacks.
LSU fans have to be excited because Roy is one of the best defensive lineman in the country.
Joins Roy as 2020 LSU commit. Guillory was named the Co-Defensive MVP for 5A District 2.
The 2020 TCU commit received his All-American Bowl jersey earlier this month and showed why he is one of the top players in the country during his senior season.
Was the leader on one of the best defenses in the state as a junior. Had 82 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, forced five fumbles and blocked two field goals.
The top-rated linebacker in the state was named the 5A District 6 Defensive MVP after a stellar senior campaign.
LB – Kolbe Fields, Archbishop Rummel (Metairie), 6-1,175, Jr. Played a huge role for one of the most dominant defenses in the state. Racked up 105 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, three interceptions and forced two fumbles.
The leader on one of the top defenses in the Bayou State. West Monroe allowed less than 10 points per game and finished the year 11-2. He was named the Co-Defensive Player of the Year for 5A District 2 along with Guillory.
The 2020 Vanderbilt commit had a monster senior campaign and saved his best for last. He was named the Most Outstanding Player in the Division 1 championship after scoring a rushing touchdown, forcing a fumble, returning a kickoff for a score with less than two minutes left and had the game-winning interception to lead the Raiders to a 14-10 win.
DB – Jamie Vance, Edna Karr (New Orleans), 5-10, 155, Sr. Leader for one of the most talented secondaries in the state. The 2020 Louisville commit is one of the best ball-hawking cornerbacks.
The 4-star safety is the top rated defensive back in Louisiana for the Class of 2021. Ended the season with four interceptions, three forced fumbles and 50 tackles.
Just committed to Georgia this week and is one of the most well-rounded defensive backs in the nation.
No matter where the 4-star athlete lines up he makes plays. Big-time playmaker on all three phases and was named the defensive MVP in 2A District 6.
Averaged over 43 yards per punt and nearly half of them were downed inside the opponent's 20 yard line. Also connected on 4-of-5 field goals during his senior season.

One of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the state. The 2020 Memphis commit helped lead Zachary to a couple of state championships during his high school career.
The 2020 Army commit rushed for nearly 1,200 yards and 19 touchdowns while throwing for over 700 yards and seven more scores.
RB – Corey Wren, John Curtis Christian (River Ridge), 5-9, 170, Sr. The former Georgia commit is one of the best playmakers in the country. Had over 1,100 yards rushing and 19 total touchdowns during his senior campaign.
Named the Offensive MVP for 5A District 6 after a strong senior season from the 2020 Louisiana Tech commit.
The 2020 Florida State commit was one of the toughest receivers to cover in the Bayou State.
The 2020 Southern Mississippi commit was named the Offensive MVP for 4A District 6.

Arch Manning's favorite target. Ended his senior season with 73 receptions for 1,137 yards and 19 touchdowns.
WR – Jack Bech, St. Thomas More (Lafayette), 6-1, 203, Jr. Had 91 receptions for nearly 1,700 yards and 20 touchdowns for the Division II state champs.
Leader on the offensive line for one of the most explosive offenses in Louisiana.
Him and First Team selection Bannister will be battling it out for the No. 1 rated spot among offensive lineman in the state among the Class of 2021.
One of the most versatile offensive lineman and was one of the leaders for the Division 1 state champs.
Paved the way for the most dangerous rushing attack in the state. Was named to the 5A District 3 First Team on offense.
Big-time playmaker with his arm and legs. Threw for over 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for nearly 1,200 and 23 more scores. The Wildcats finished the year undefeated and capped it off beating Jennings 51-14 in the 3A championship.
Second Team
Named the Defensive MVP for 3A District 9 after racking up 13 sacks and 28 tackles for loss.
The leader on the defense for the runner-ups in 5A. The 2020 Tulane commit was named to the 5A District 7 First Team.
Checks in the Top 40 overall in the nation on 247sports in the Class of 2021. Has already landed 24 FBS and that includes the likes of Alabama, Auburn, and LSU.
Played a huge role on defensive line for the Division 1 state champs. The Raiders held eight of 13 opponents to seven points or less.
Was named the 4A District 6 Defensive MVP and it was one of the most versatile defensive players in the state.
LB – Aaron Thomas, Archbishop Rummel (Metairie), 5-11, 225, Sr. One of six all-state players, he finished with 99 tackles and two interceptions.
LB – Quinton Cage, Archbishop Rummel (Metairie), 5-10, 185, Sr. Cage is one of the most versatile defensive players in Louisiana. Can play the linebacker and safety position at a high level.
DB – Caleb Spann, John Curtis Christian (River Ridge), 5-10, 170, Jr. One of the most physical defensive backs in the state and will have a chance to be the No. 1 cornerback in Louisiana for the Class of 2021 when it is all said and done.
Named the 4A District 5 Defensive MVP after a strong junior season.
Led a very talented secondary with eight interceptions and helped lead the Wildcats to the 3A state championship.
The 2020 Virginia commit was the leader in the backend for the Trojans and was a First Team 5A District 2 selection.
The 2020 Baylor commit joins Clark on the First Team for 5A District 2.
AP – LC Benjamin, Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge), 6-0, 200, Sr. He hasn't even come close to reaching his potential and was a big-time playmaker at linebacker and running back during his senior season.
