Basketball Recap: NEST+M's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but NEST+m unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 48-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hunter College Hawks. While losing is never fun, NEST+m can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Hunter College is ranked 74th).

NEST+m's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Hunter College, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. NEST+m will venture away from home to face off against Lab Museum United at 4:30 p.m. on January 27th. NEST+m's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Lab Museum United's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hunter College, they are taking a road trip to challenge Clinton School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Clinton School: 29.2, Hunter College: 25.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
