Basketball Recap: Mcbee Makes It Five in a Row at Home

McBee had won four straight home games dating back to last season and Tyrek Wright did his part to make it five on Friday. The McBee Panthers put the hurt on the North Central Knights with a sharp 64-38 win thanks in part to Wright, who went 11 of 13 on his way to 29 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

McBee's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for North Central, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

McBee will host Midlands STEM Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Lugoff-Elgin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lugoff-Elgin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
