Oak City Prep had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's matchup, but Amazin Dixon didn't let it get to four. The Oak City Prep Bears blew past the Thomas Academy Eagles 59-19 on Tuesday thanks in part to Dixon, who went 10 for 19 on his way to 27 points and seven assists. He has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 15 times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Tiyeon Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Oak City Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Thomas Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-5.
