Volleyball Recap: Aurora Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Aurora Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Wheaton Academy Warriors 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Aurora Christian got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 21-25, 25-12.

Hope Wagner paced Aurora Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wagner got some help from Breanna Hard and her 20 assists. Wagner was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Aurora Christian's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-3. As for Wheaton Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-12.
