Softball Recap: Turner Falcons vs. Rock Creek Mustangs        
        
		
             Turner's hitters rose to the challenge against a Mustangs pitching crew that boasted an average of only 4.03  runs allowed on Friday. The Turner Falcons never let the Rock Creek Mustangs onto the board and left with  an   11-0  win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 14 games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Journey Shankles, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Ava Forsythe, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Turner  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most five  strikeouts in eight consecutive  contests.
 Turner's victory was  their tenth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 23-7. As for Rock Creek,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-17.
 As of now, neither Turner nor Rock Creek have any future games scheduled.
