Columbus had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Franklin Lions 62-42 on Friday. Considering the Cardinals have won ten matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the sixth in a row for Columbus, bringing their record for this year to 13-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Franklin, they moved to 10-3 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Columbus will take on Edna at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Edna's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last ten contests. Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
