Harvey won the last time they faced Jefferson Area and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Raiders enjoyed a cozy 37-18 win over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

Shahn Alston produced another solid effort rushing for 54 yards and a pair of TDs, while also picking up 55 receiving yards and one score. Chris Burt Jr. was another key player, picking up 111 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Harvey's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Jefferson Area's side was Jeremiah Rowdy, who picked up a sack, made 15 total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended two passes.

Harvey now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Jefferson Area, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvey will host Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Jefferson Area, they will challenge Conneaut at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
