After a string of three wins, Waterloo's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Geneva Panthers. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Waterloo's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3. As for Geneva, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Waterloo and Geneva should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Waterloo (ranked 188th) will meet School of the Arts (ranked 524th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Geneva will challenge Midlakes at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th up 289 places (211 vs. 500).
