Basketball Recap: Prescott Comes Up Short

Prescott lost against Sunnyside Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Prescott Tigers were dealt a 44-14 loss at the hands of the Sunnyside Christian Knights. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Prescott has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Sunnyside Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Prescott will square off against Touchet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Prescott is facing Touchet at the right time seeing as Touchet is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Sunnyside Christian, they will take on Riverside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunnyside Christian's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so Riverside Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
