Austin Romero put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. He struck out three batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Romero's effort led Durango over Montrose and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
