 The Franklin Towne Warriors are on the road again  on Monday to play the Tacony Academy Charter Lions at 3:15  p.m. Franklin Towne's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5  runs per game  this season, so Tacony Academy Charter's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

 Meanwhile, Tacony Academy Charter sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  11-10  win over Saul  on Friday.
  Anthony Arvelo made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   six  hits. Arvelo was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Ronnie Hanratty, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2.  Geovonni Irizarry was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Franklin Towne's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Tacony Academy Charter,  the  victory  got them back to even at 6-6.
 Monday's   contest will be a test for both team's pitchers. Franklin Towne hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .433. However, it's not like Tacony Academy Charter struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .338.
