Collierville won the last time they faced Bartlett and things went their way on Friday too. The Dragons enjoyed a cozy 38-20 victory over the Panthers. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Panthers are ranked 124th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Autry, Lawrence continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 129 yards and four TDs. Another player making a difference was Cayson Stanford, who threw for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Collierville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bartlett only rushed for 90.

Bartlett's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaibriel Bowers, who rushed for 73 yards and two scores. Pierce Washington also helped out with an impressive 111 receiving yards.

Collierville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points over those games. As for Bartlett, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Collierville will welcome Craigmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bartlett, they will venture away from home to square off against Pearl-Cohn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Firebirds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
