 There's no place like home for the Pike County Central Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Thursday. They took down East Carter 58-44  on Saturday. Pike County Central pushed the score to  48-28 by the end of the third, a deficit East Carter cut but never quite recovered from.
 Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Avery Hall, who  scored 12 points along with two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Kinsley Rutledge, who  scored 14 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.
 Pike County Central's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for East Carter, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pike County Central will take on Breathitt County at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Pike County Central knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Breathitt County likes a good challenge. As for East Carter, they will be playing at home against Greenup County at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday.
