Football Game Preview: Brophy College Prep Broncos vs. Shadow Ridge Stallions + How To Watch

Brophy College Prep is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the Shadow Ridge Stallions at 7:00 p.m. Brophy College Prep will be strutting in after a win while Shadow Ridge will be coming in after a defeat.

Brophy College Prep is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Red Mountain, who was ranked eighth at the time (Brophy College Prep was ranked fifth). The Broncos took down the Mountain Lions 27-10 on Friday.

Case Vanden Bosch continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 75 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 266 yards and one TD while completing 76.2% of his passes. A healthy portion of Vanden Bosch's aerial production (102 yards to be exact) went to Jayson Kubica.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Shadow Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Millennium, falling 55-34.

Brophy College Prep will have to contain Michael Cruz as he made an impact in Shadow Ridge's last game. He rushed for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 carries. Cruz's longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.

Brophy College Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Shadow Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Everything went Brophy College Prep's way against Shadow Ridge when the teams last played back in August of 2019, as Brophy College Prep made off with a 21-0 victory. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
