Basketball Recap: Windsor's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

Windsor suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 62-37 to the Cherokee Trail Cougars. The loss was the Wizards' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Windsor lost, don't look at Gracie Worsley. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten boards. Worsley is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Gates, who posted six points and six boards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cherokee Trail to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaliyah Broadus, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 26 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. With that strong performance, Broadus is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. Another player making a difference was Chloe Cain, who earned 14 points in addition to seven boards and five assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Windsor fell to 3-1. As for Cherokee Trail, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Windsor will be taking part in a tournament against Fort Collins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cherokee Trail, they will take on Regis Jesuit in a tournament on Friday.
