Volleyball Recap: Crescenta Valley Extends Winning Streak to Four

Crescenta Valley waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Burbank Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Crescenta Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 25-11, 25-21.

Crescenta Valley pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Burbank, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Crescenta Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Glendale at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Burbank will take on rival Pasadena at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
