Soccer Game Preview: Broughton vs. Millbrook

The Broughton Capitals will challenge the Millbrook Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Broughton is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

On Thursday, Broughton earned a 3-1 win over Rolesville. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Broughton's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while Rolesville are ranked 78th).

Alec Bickmore and Marvin Pelaez scored all three of Broughton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Millbrook's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Rolesville on Thursday. Everything went the Wildcats' way against Leesville Road as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Millbrook have beaten Leesville Road the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Leesville Road has come to flipping the script.

Broughton's record is now 13-2-3. As for Millbrook, their record now sits at 9-5-3.
