Christian Academy of Knoxville barely beat William Blount the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the Governors 11-2 on Wednesday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Ella Borbeck and Emily Bogoski made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Borbeck tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Bogoski tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Borbeck has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. At bat, Borbeck went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Bogoski went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Borbeck has posted over her last eight contests.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gracie Kringen, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Halle Bedwell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Christian Academy of Knoxville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as William Blount only posted a batting average of .182.

The victory made it two in a row for Christian Academy of Knoxville and bumps their season record up to 15-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for William Blount, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-10.
