It was a good run, but Advanced Math & Science Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 6-3 to the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Advanced Math & Science Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Laudate, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Advanced Math & Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Wachusett Regional, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Advanced Math & Science Academy will take on Nipmuc Regional at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wachusett Regional, they will challenge Lincoln-Sudbury at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
