Baseball Recap: Bowsher Comes Up Short

After flying high against Woodward on Thursday, Bowsher came back down to earth. The Rebels lost 13-2 to the Southview Cougars on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Bowsher saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Donovan McClellan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bowsher now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Southview, their record is now 9-5.

Coming up, Bowsher will venture away from home to take on Rogers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season. As for Southview, they will host Napoleon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
