Basketball Recap: Echols County Takes a Loss

Echols County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Clinch County Panthers, falling 87-46. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 70-28 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Echols County's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Clinch County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Echols County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brooks County at 5:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Clinch County and Ware County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
