New Jerusalem Christian Academy strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 44-37 win over the Community Christian Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elijah Marcellus was the offensive standout of the game as he went 8-for-19 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds. Jayden Reid was another key player, putting up seven points along with seven boards and six steals.

New Jerusalem Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Community Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. New Jerusalem Christian Academy will square off against West Gate Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Community Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Grace Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
