Volleyball Recap: Gloucester Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Gloucester unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Hanover Hawks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Dukes were not able to make up for their loss to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

While Gloucester ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-17.

Coming up, Gloucester will head out on the road to square off against Phoebus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hanover, they will square off against Midlothian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
