Volleyball Recap: Frostproof Comes Up Short

Frostproof was the 3-1 winner over Haines City when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Frostproof's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Haines City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frostproof will welcome Lake Region at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Thunder at the right time seeing as the Thunder are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Haines City, they will square off against Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bloodhounds will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
