Leading Edge Academy - GEC entered their tilt with Kingman Academy on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They rang in the new year with a 44-32 victory over the Kingman Academy Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-35 last Thursday.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC was led to victory by Corynn Foster and Hayley Foster. Corynn went 8 of 11 on her way to 19 points, while Hayley went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds. Emilee Vuckovich was another key player, putting up five points and seven rebounds.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Kingman Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
