Softball Game Preview: Toledo Christian Eagles vs. Cardinal Stritch Cardinals

The Toledo Christian Eagles will face off against the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Toledo Christian has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Toledo Christian's offense. They came up short against Northwood on Thursday, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost six in a row.

Ottawa Hills hit Cardinal Stritch with a six-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cardinals fell just short of the Green Bears by a score of 12-11.

Kenzie Kinnie made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Cadence Zgurich was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and one double.

Toledo Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cardinal Stritch, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
