Basketball Recap: Renton Takes a Loss

Renton lost against Bellevue back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Renton Red Hawks were dealt an 85-42 defeat at the hands of the Bellevue Wolverines. The game marked the Red Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Renton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Bellevue, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Renton will take on Skyline at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Renton is facing Skyline at the right time seeing as Skyline is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Bellevue, they will challenge Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Bellevue knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Liberty likes a good challenge.
